Shaft Women's Rights Association participated as a partner in the Erasmus+ Mobility of Youth Workers project "Energie für Ihren Körper, optimieren Sie Ihr Leben" (Project Reference Number: 2025-1-AT01-KA153-YOU-000299912), coordinated by FI Gesundheits- und Sportverein. The project was implemented in Klagenfurt, Austria, between 21–26 July 2025.

The programme opened with an interactive ice-breaking activity designed to help participants get to know one another in an engaging and enjoyable way. Through a dynamic ball game, youth workers introduced themselves, answered personal questions, and listened to the experiences of others. This simple but effective activity encouraged open communication, strengthened trust within the international group, and created a welcoming atmosphere for collaboration throughout the project.

Participants then explored the objectives of the project while reflecting on their own daily habits related to healthy nutrition and physical activity. Working in mixed international groups, they compared their experiences, identified similarities and differences, and discussed practical ways to promote healthier lifestyles among young people. The collaborative discussions increased awareness of personal wellbeing while demonstrating how peer learning can inspire positive behavioural change. A guided exploration of the hosting venue also encouraged networking and informal exchanges between participants.

An Erasmus+ information session provided comprehensive knowledge about the programme's opportunities for youth workers and organisations. Through presentations, practical examples, videos, and discussions, participants gained a deeper understanding of Erasmus+ actions, international mobility opportunities, and the value of non-formal education. The session also highlighted how participation in European projects contributes to both professional development and stronger international partnerships.

Another reflective activity invited participants to identify and share their personal and professional goals by contributing to a collective "Goal Wall." Individual aspirations, future career plans, and expectations from Erasmus+ were displayed visually, encouraging meaningful conversations among participants with similar ambitions. This process strengthened group cohesion, promoted mutual understanding, and motivated participants to support one another in achieving common objectives beyond the duration of the project.

The activities demonstrated that effective youth work begins with strong communication, mutual trust, and shared learning experiences. By combining self-reflection, intercultural dialogue, and collaborative learning, participants enhanced their professional competences while building an international network committed to promoting healthier lifestyles and more impactful youth work across Europe.
